In this situation where on one hand 160 million people are looking for Roti, Kapra and makan along with the electricity and on the other hand 2.5 million Pakistanis don’t have roof on their heads our beloved president is busy in his international trips. He stays in 300000 per night hotel along with his over 100 companions and only lands on pak land may be only to change hi clothes. Pakistan is going through war these days and our president is not even have a day to stay and look after this critical situation.

After some calculation one can know that president zardari, in his almost 9 months presidency spends 3 months in his international tours. The time hi spend in Pakistan he was busy either in his wife’s funeral or his father-in-law’s. Who knows that hi might learn in his childhood that the most important function of a president is to be on a tour, a foreign tour!

As our president is busy to sell Pakistan by staying out side the Pakistan our respected Prime Minister is selling Pakistani property of worth RS. 150 billion in just RS. 2.5 billion to American embassy. I really wish that our Chief Justice for who’s restoration Nation fight for 2 years do something about this matter and call PM in his court to clarify his decision.

 I m a student of BBA-Hons and I have no interest neither in our politicians nor in our politics. As we all know that our country has been facing many economic and social downturns which get worst from last decades. Whether it is literacy rate or, a good living standard of people, or livelihood of poor people every thing has been just found in a disastrous condition. The issues of inflation, poverty and education make our nation handicapped. But in all these circumstances, our parents act as a sheltering tree for us. They never let us feel about any of these issues because they always gave us the best they can. So we never pay any serious attention towards these issues. Among the duster of all these issues only one issue get succeeded in attaining my attention that is the Electricity power failure. The whole day failure of electricity is somehow we can bear but there is only one night our politician can endow us with peace. Everyday load shedding makes our nation paralyzed. If a person who is unable to complete his rest the whole night due to electricity failure he will become unhealthy and certainly results in reduction of working efficiency. Already we are called as backward nations, if our nation remains unhealthy how it will then progress. It’s not only about one person it’s about the whole nation. For how long a mother makes her children to get slept at night by using newspapers pieces which is full of promises but not a single action have been performed to fulfill them. Our so called politicians to whom we see everyday on TV shouting about ROTI, KAPRA or MAKAAN what they do know about these problems. They remain in there cool air conditioners how do they know about this killing hot weather. Through the reference of your program I wanted to request these rulers to please save our nation from being paralyzed by endowing them peace of mind at nights through avoiding power shortages at nights.

Pakistan’’s political system has been in the transitional state ever since its inception in August 1947. Pakistan has not been able to established a strong,stable and permanent political order based on moral and democratic values. From the very beginning Pakistan faced a constitutional deadlock which resulted in the destruction of political, social and economic order and due to this Pakistan was deprived of a respectable place in the comity of nations.

Though Pakistan possesses the political apparatus for the smooth running of a democratic system in a country but unfortunately those responsible for its smooth running do not have the will, patience, stamina and character to culminate it in a strong democratic set-up. Politics of Pakistan is restricted to a politics of vendetta, ignorance, intolerance, exploitation and totally unacceptable democratic order.Many reasons can be put forward for the wobbling political system of Pakistan but the most important and worth mentioning are that the political parties carry their work out in a disorganized manner, absence of democratic set-up within the part ranks, lack of political institutions and in the last but not the least the paucity of dedicated political leadership.

Unfortunately, whenever a brave, dedicated and trustworthy political figure risen on the horizon of political scene, the people of Pakistan due to lack of basic and proper education and political awareness refused to accommodate it within its social structure. The most recent example of this phenomena is the manner in which the people of Pakistan treated the internationally renowned political figure of Ms.Benazir Bhutto. Why such incident occurred? the answer is very simple, the people of this country were never allowed to develop their faculties of thoughts, expression, character etc. They neither were given nor were thought about their fundamental rights.Most of the leader feel pride in marring the constitution as most of their energies and potentials were utilized for erecting their own edifice of wealth which ended on a way with no end no goal.

Its time to do something, yes It really is the time to do something as we are under war, This is war which USA with the help of India successfully able to launch in Pakistan. Taliban?? They are nothing but product of Indians to destabilize Pakistan and have access to atomic weapons of Pakistan. USA is playing double game with us by providing dollars to Government and more dollars to their product.

The game is according to some highly profile analysts that they want Pakistan to call for UN help on the Sawat issue for handling of almost half million innocent victims of Swat who are leaving their homes and of course homeland. Once US forces are here in the outfit of UN help they can get access to anything they want.

At beigning I said that its time for us to do something. What we can do? Is the first question coming to your mind. We have to help our brothers and sisters of swat, gove donations, send food, clothes, shulter, they need that, they need our help. They are sacrifaicing for us, for our Pakistan we have to return them with something.

As a matter of fact, Pakistan has finally isolated from the cricketing world, undoubtedly. A series of postponed cricketing event in Pakistan was a clear cut message that no team wanted to tour the troubled country but when a comrade nation steps in to make a difference out of it, within no time the difference overwhelmed and paid the price in form Lahore terror attack, so every thing squared up. 

The ICC’s decision to detached Pakistan from the list of World Cup hosts is indeed throbbing cricket-obsessed nation in the time of need. Whole Pakistan felt that and obviously it hurts and we have to live with such twinge. 

How ICC and cricketing world could comprehends Pakistan when the same incompetent authorities those were botched and even failed to capture a single activist and still standing tall are asking for another chance, without justifying the first one. 

An argument which has being floating among us that no country is safe from such attacks but how many attacks are being occurred in rest of he world as in Pakistan, people in Pakistan thanking God for an curious cause – as the day went without any terrorism activity anywhere in the country. 

In such level of apprehension and darkness there should no fury and not to be condemned for ICC’s decision. These top three sports journalist association cited the ICC move “premature and illogical” and hope the situation seems to be improving and God willing the country will have a perfect peaceful atmosphere by the year 2011.

A high-profile global event cannot be organised on what may or may not happen when every thing is getting messing up in the country and despite accepting the lacking, started playing a blame game. Though it is difficult to predict the situation in Pakistan, considering, the facts and figures from history. In the meantime ICC has no good reason to wait rather than spent much time for its preparation rather than negotiating on a dead rubber issue.

Since ICC second biggest event Champions Trophy was eventually shifted out of Pakistan after the postponement of a year for letting the country stable but the concerns among the touring country stood alive and got more stiff on touring Pakistan.

Now what to do? Considering all a scenario it reminds that South Africa was once isolated from International cricket for over twenty years due to Apartheid, but it was far most awful than Pakistan ongoing circumstances which could take atleast couple of years to settle down the dust.

However, with the collapse of the Apartheid regime of South Africa, cricket was readmitted to the international arena, with the birth of the new South Africa and a multi-racial country is today seen as the one of the strongest teams in the world. Within the last decade they have recorded a series of wins over every Test playing nation even demolish mighty Australia to seal the first place in ICC ranking in both form of cricket.

Pakistan have to take every thing positively and optimistic, it’s not an end, it was ultimately an end of testing era. Now need to have a constructive broader prospect of whole episode with dumping the pessimistic aspect to start a new beginning.

Since my childhood, I have always hoped for one leader or another, that they will take our country to great progress, but alas, no such leader ever came. Hoping for progress has been too much, we haven’t even stayed on same level but kept going downwards, but I still haven’t lost any hope. I can’t say anything about our leaders, but I trust our nation and God. I would like to mention that great leaders in the world do something wrong by mistake, but our leaders do something good by mistake. Musharaf gave freedom to media and took great credit for it, though he hoped that this media will keep singing his praises, but this unconscious good deed became the cause for his downfall, as he never consciously did anything good for this country or it’s people. People are now very aware of the country’s situation, thanks to the media. Previously, those people who took part in elections used to choose lesser of all evils. Once I asked someone who is he voting for, he told me, I asked, “why this candidate?”, he said, “why the other candidate?” It made me wonder that he was right, why the other candidate? People see one candidate’s unconsciously done good deed and for that vote for them. But now, in next elections this won’t happen, people won’t choose lesser of all evils, but the best in all goods. We have seen the dark times of dictatorship and now democracy in uniform. Now many things are clear, it’s not difficult to differentiate between good and evil.

I will again like to repeat that some people dismiss other’s good work just by saying that he only did that to get people’s vote, or he did that just because of public’s pressure, or he did that for that greed, or he did it with that fear. Here I would just like to say that in Quran, Allah has often frightened people of hell, and in other places have mentioned the heaven, now if someone stop doing bad deeds from the fear of hell or he does in hope to get in heaven in result, so, whatever option he chooses it doesn’t matter, the main point is to not to bad deeds.

We shouldn’t criticize someone’s good work, but learn from it. If one political party is doing good while sitting in province and other isn’t even from federal, instead of getting jealous of provincial government and criticizing it they should learn from it, cause these are the things that will get that party into federal government and get this party out.

Well, in the end, all I have to say is that I am seeing a great change in near future. A great positive change will take this country towards great progress. Now we have chosen a religious party, and a liberal party and a party that will work as a bridge between both these parties. I think future’s government would be public democracy in real sense where President will keep his word and those breaking the constitution will be in prison instead of Supreme Court.

Pakistan’s economy is going through a very bad time especially after election. New goverment is facing a lot of problems like shortage of electricity, gas and water. Foriegn investors have drawn there money from our stock market, and our stock market is crushed badly and every small investor is drowned. People’s are jobless, more over they are hopeless. Every one wants to have a good income but its impossible to build your economy on the base of aid, because the economy build on the aid is like the house of sand. Government can’t give back the loss of people with aid. It can only be paid if goverment stop relying on aid, build there own rules and regulations, create the trust of foreign investors. If we didn’t stop relying on aid, we ll crash.

Now a days every one is aware of Israel’s attack on Palestine. Thousands of innocent peoples are being killed in these attacks and no one is there to hear the cry of innocent. When when some terrorists attacked on mumbai Taj hotel the whole world was shaken and without prove, India started issuing statements by regular interval that Pakistan is behind this act this is, just because they got a strong back from USA, UK and Israel.

For some time I have been wondering the reason behind this drama. Then I thought this might be because of coming election in India, but then some days later Israel attacked openly on Palestine, then I understood that almost all Muslim countries are in control of United States and Pakistan is the only muslim atomic nation in the world. So USA is giving instructions to India to keep applying pressure on Pakistan so that baby of America (Israel) wildly take lives of innocent people.
