New Pak Army?
The statement of Air Chief, “we can stop the attack of US planes, Government is to decide.” One thing in this statement which has delighted and comforted after a long time is that if we wish, we can not only stop the looming death on us but can also defeat the “enemy”. But with all this, one thing is beyond my understanding that despite of such ability what is the reason that our leaders has always been saying that we do not have solution to these attacks. Well whatever the reason has been, now it is time for our Army to brazen out its enemies instead of its own people.
Now if we look at the other side of the coin, the good news is that now Army wants to keep itself separate from the Government affairs, which is evident in Army Chief’s statement. But is our Govt. proficient enough to take any decision? Infact the more important question would be that whether our Leaders can take any decision themselves at all or decision of our fates are also being fall by US Planes? Anyhow, now the time has come that instead of relying on others we should take the decisions of our fate in our hands.

I remember when Musharaf came into power, I was too young to had any interest in politics back then, but I remember people rejoicing the change. After 9 years, we were fed up by military government and rejoiced when civilian government came into power.
The way things are going right now, if they didn’t change, I am sure people will once again become fed up by our politicians, and won’t mind army coming back in Government for change. People are already saying that Musharaf was much better than this and if given choice, they would prefer him over current government.
Let’s hope we learn this time and stop history from repeating itself once again. After all, hope is the only thing we, as a nation, are good at doing
