The Dignified Nation
If anyone is happy after reading Prime Minister’s statement, “In case of attack, we will stand like a dignified nation” then I share his sorrow with him. I would like to ask, do we need India to attack for us to become dignified ?
Where was our honor and dignity when our daughter was being cruelly victimized, and two of her children are still missing, where was our dignity when Zardari returned saying we are completely supporting Dr. Afia Siddique.
Where does our honor and dignity go when American spy planes attack and kill innocent children reciting Quran and our dignified government announce them terrorist even before infidels. Where does our dignity go when Indian foreign minister threatens us on phone, and the dignified president of this dignified nation chooses ‘better way out’ by locking our own people in jails. Where does our honor and dignity go when thousands of our muslim sisters lose their honor in Kashmir.
If we can’t show our dignity in these situations than this statement of showing honor and dignity would be considered a joke in the world and they won’t even like to listen or read those words again.
